Overview Competition Number: 12-15-FT Employment Status: Fulltime Job Description The Human Resources Coordinator & Payroll Administrator is responsible for administering the payroll function and for the overall coordination of human resources across the organization in conjunction with the General Manager and for the associated programs and functions of HR in support of corporate goals and objectives. This will be accomplished by implementation of company policies and procedures. The HR Coordinator & Payroll Administrator shall also manage budgets for HR administration and engage the organization in achieving its people objectives. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role. It is very important to represent the company's corporate image in an exemplary manner demonstrating superior customer service. As a Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing Representative, his/her role will exemplify our brand image as an ambassador, and will provide positive brand experiences to all customers.

Responsibilities Qualifications
Applied skills and experience in an HR related capacity.
Work experience in the tourism industry preferred.
Demonstrated ability to process Payroll and oversee the payroll function.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate HR initiatives, organizational development, contracts, and change.
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable employment, wage and salary laws and regulations and ability to interpret and comply with those.
Demonstrated knowledge of implementation of benefit programs.
Able to analyze and assess training and development needs.
Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of management.
Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Strong presentation, written, and verbal skills.
A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid conflict resolution and people management skills.
Politically and culturally sensitive.
Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
Strong morals and ethics, along with a commitment to staff privacy.
Experience with automated software applications and HR systems.
Proven ability to work in a dynamic and challenging work environment.
Attributes include strong interpersonal skills, organization, self-motivated, assured, persuasive and positive personal image.
Some experience coordinating budgets.
Continuous upgrading of professional knowledge in Human Resources and Payroll.
Willing to work a flexible schedule coinciding with work volumes.
High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and proven ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic and challenging work environment.
Must have a strong knowledge of written and spoken English.
Knowledge of a second language (preferably German): spoken & written is an asset.
CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designation is an asset.
PCP (payroll compliance practitioner) designation is an asset.
Some travel may be required.
Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
