Overview Employment Status: Fulltime Job Description Responsible for the payables function, overseeing night audit, and preparing and issuing accounting documents. Accounts Payable involves processing purchase orders and payment transactions, and verifying and reconciling these transactions. Supervising the night audit function involves overseeing the audit of all financial transactions originating within the resort and processed through the computer system. Must ensure that daily totals are reconciled, information is relayed to the accounting system, and that the system is set up for the day's transactions. This position involves responding to inquiries, maintaining customer relations and solving problems. Will perform related clerical duties such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing, and photocopying. Will also assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as required. The seasonal nature and location of the business provide unique challenges. New and returning staff account for a significant workload at the beginning and end of the season. Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Night Audit administration are complex and require a high degree of accuracy. This position involves highly confidential communications with employees, departments and management. The need for accurate and timely submissions of information is critical. Integrity, passion, and presentational skills are essential for this role.

Experience and Qualifications Qualifications
Experience (3-5 years) in business administration. Completion of secondary school. Additional education in business administration. Experience in processing payment transactions. Experience processing and/or overseeing the Night Audit function. Integrity beyond reproach to ensure confidentiality of information. Able to work with minimal supervision, efficiently and with precision. Good computer skills, with experience in MSWord, Excel, Resort Data Processing (RDP), and AccPac. Experience in cash management. Proven ability to work in a dynamic and challenging work environment. Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Attributes include personal integrity, self-motivation, and a persuasive and positive personal image. Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization. High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure. Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in German. Flexible to work evening and/or early morning shifts. Must be willing to relocate to Blue River, BC to live and work fulltime. Bondable. Compensation: $16 per hour
