Responsibilities Job Description This position is responsible for reservations and sales functions. The successful candidate will be expected to provide world-class customer service and sales excellence to clients with very high expectations. This position involves coordination of reservations (winter and summer), accounting of payments and guest accounts, and coordination of client requests with other resort departments. There will be extensive guest correspondence and interaction, from first contact to departure and follow up after the trip. Also responsible for various clerical tasks associated with the reservations such as filing, credit card authorization and registration card filing, and guest accounting functions including taking advance payments and providing receipts, posting and transferring charges, and conducting necessary paperwork related to corrections, adjustments, posting of charges.

Experience and Qualifications Qualifications ï‚· 3 to 5 years experience in customer service, reservations and sales. ï‚· A certificate or diploma in a related field preferred. ï‚· Experience in all aspects of customer service. ï‚· Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles, methods, practices, and techniques. ï‚· Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills. ï‚· Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment. ï‚· Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment. ï‚· Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and guests. ï‚· Demonstrated knowledge of sales practices, and exceptional customer service and sales skills. ï‚· Professional email and telephone communications and the ability to effectively close sales and provide customer service via both incoming and outgoing calls. ï‚· Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. ï‚· Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events. ï‚· High level of proficiency with resort booking software, customer relationship management software, and MS Word and Excel. ï‚· Must have a strong knowledge of written and spoken English. ï‚· Knowledge of a second language (preferably German): spoken & written is an asset. ï‚· Ski industry knowledge. ï‚· Dynamic and energetic personality. ï‚· Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. ï‚· This position is long term.
