Overview The Sales & Marketing Manager is directly responsible for all aspects of marketing and sales within the company.

Responsibilities Responsibilities include developing and executing the marketing strategy, and managing the sales of corporate products and services through the achievement of sales targets. This position must ensure communications via primary sources of customer contact, telephone and correspondence are managed professionally, customer requests and needs are recognized, and expectations are exceeded whenever possible. Actions will result in corporate, financial and customer service targets being achieved. Team actions, in conjunction with company management initiatives, are critical to ensure the maximization of revenue potential. The Sales & Marketing Manager will develop ongoing, profitable relationships with guests and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role. It is very important to represent the company's corporate image in an exemplary manner demonstrating superior customer service. As a Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing Representative, his/her role will exemplify our brand image as an ambassador, and will provide positive brand experiences to all customers and new clientele. This role is also responsible for overseeing e-newsletter development, the company website, blog entries, social media, and media and partner relations.

Experience and Qualifications Full time year-round position based in Blue River, British Columbia, Canada. University degree or College Diploma in a related field preferred. 3 to 5 years of direct work experience in a management capacity. 3 to 5 years experience in the ski industry specifically in marketing and sales preferred Strong experience with and knowledge of marketing resources, procedures, and best practices. Ability to collaborate and develop short and long term plans. Hands on marketing experience with the ability to design graphics and marketing materials, create press releases and blog posts, and control the company's presence within the industry and on the web. Strong experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, financial analysis, account development, and business planning. Demonstrated knowledge of sales and analytical theories and practices. Experience in all aspects of customer relations and people management. Demonstrated ability to lead and direct a team. Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments. Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and guests. Strong working knowledge of tourism and hospitality industry practices. Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions. Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills. Knowledge of cost analysis, fiscal management, and budgeting techniques. Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events. Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment. Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work under pressure in a diverse working environment. Professional email and telephone communications and the ability to effectively close sales and provide customer service via both incoming and outgoing calls. High level of proficiency with resort booking software, customer relationship management software, Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Must have a strong knowledge of written and spoken English.
