Overview Our firm has an immediate opening for a Municipal Engineer - with a focus in land development and municipal engineering services. This person will have an interest in contributing to the future growth and development of the company and in taking a leadership role. We are seeking a senior professional with strong technical and management skills to lead our major projects in this area of our engineering practice. This opportunity, for the correct individual, is to provide leadership, business development, project management, and technical direction, oversee the delivery of engineering work, and to grow our capability to meet the requirements of our growing client focused business. The individual we are seeking is an engineer who can build and lead a talented group of professionals. This person understands the technical excellence required, enjoys the business development challenges and can manage for profitability.

Experience and Qualifications Undergraduate or Graduate Engineering Degree. Ability to register as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in the province of Nova Scotia. Broad scope knowledge of civil designs and an understanding of industry codes, standards, and construction methods. Land development design experience. Minimum 5 years experience Ability to handle multiple tasks. Strong interpersonal and communication skill. Team-oriented and a creative thinker. Keen decision-making abilities. Previous experience mentoring and coaching junior/intermediate level designers and technical professionals.
