Overview Preparing project proposals, restoration plans, Phase I, II and III environmental site assessments (ESA), pre-disturbance assessments (PDA), detailed site assessments, spill assessments and remediation programs for the oil & gas industry and commercial property transactions
|
Responsibilities Project management and supervision of field reclamation and remediation activities
Soil sampling and field screening for spill assessments and Phase II ESA's
Water well testing and environmental monitoring
Reviewing and interpreting laboratory results
Application of the Ground Disturbance Protocol
Liaising between regulators and clients
Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates

Experience and Qualifications 2 year diploma/certificate from a recognized institution
1-5 years of environmental technology with oil and gas sector experience
Experience in Phase I, II and III site investigations
Strong report writing skills
Consideration will be given to new graduates Preferred Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of Western Canadian reclamation criteria and practices
Knowledge of CCME and provincial remediation criteria
Knowledge of MicroSoft Office Suite
Knowledge of logging and mapping software
Knowledge of Western Canadian environmental search engines and databases
