Journeyman Electrian with Red Seal certification and minimum 4 years experience in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

Order and organize needed materials for the task Repair equipment, machines and building electrical Installation of new electrical Perform preventative maintenance Coordinate the rental of equipment when required Contact with outside contractors Complete associated paperwork Supervision of Apprentice Electricians may be required Prioritization of work orders Training of personnel and tasks Delegation of tasks Assist with millwright work as required Follow 5S+1 Lean manufacturing guidelines Work in a safe manner Manage and maintain a clean and organized work environment Must have own hand tools

Experience and Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent Electrician ticket required Electronic experience an asset Able to read blueprints Understanding measuring equipment Understanding furnace calibration an asset Mathematical aptitude Knowledge of Electrical Code Ability to supervise and multi-task Verbal and written communication skills On Call required Overtime as required Shift work required Ability to work with minimal supervision Reliable
