Overview A millwright position in the Oil and Gas industry.

Responsibilities Order and organize needed materials for the task Perform mechanical repairs and rebuilds Install new and used machinery and equipment Move existing equipment within the building Complete welding, basic electrical, plumbing and fabricating as per building requirements Coordinate the rental of equipment when required Contact with outside contractors Complete associated paperwork, including work orders, PM's, etc& Supervision of Apprentice Millwrights may be required Prioritization of work orders Perform rigging and operation of cranes and forklifts Training of employees Delegation of tasks Follow 5S+1 Lean manufacturing guidelines Work in a safe manner, following laws and regulations Manage and maintain a clean and organized work environment Must have own hand tools

Experience and Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Millwright ticket required Knowledge in a variety of trades is extremely beneficial Knowledge and experience in welding an asset (OAW, GMAW, MIG, SMAW) Intermediate computer skills an asset (Microsoft office, word, and access) Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) and pneumatics experience an asset Able to read blueprints Ability to supervise and multi-task Ability to prioritize and problem solve Verbal and written communication skills Safety & Quality training provided by AOT WHMIS training provided by AOT Completion of approved Advanced Supervisory Course and Advanced Lean Training Fall protection, Confined Spaces, Forklift and Crane, Aerial Platform, Cutting Torch and Arc Flash training provided by AOT On Call required Overtime as required Shift work required Ability to work with minimal supervision Reliable
