Responsibilities Plan, design, prototype, test and qualify platform designs for cutting edge digital UV wide format inkjet printers
Develop tooling to study processes and properties related to inkjet printer design
Recommend and propose new products and technologies
Liaise with Manufacturing Engineers to troubleshoot and solve complex system integration issues
Develop and create software tooling to support research initiatives

Experience and Qualifications BaSc in Systems Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics or Applied Scienc
Possess minimum of 5+ years progressive experience in fast paced, new product development environment
Experience in research methods and data processing to yield reports describing prototype system behaviour
Familiarity with image machine vision tools and techniques an asset
Strong research, analysis and reporting skills
Ability to conduct experiments of an advanced nature
Evaluate preliminary imaging technologies necessary prior to the design of a new product
