Overview Assist in construction and erection and repair of towers and co-location system placement.

Responsibilities Job Functions:
Erection of various tower types Off-loading material and inventory Preparation and cleaning of sites Climbing towers and ladders at various heights Installation of new carriers on new build and existing towers Following of Fall Safety procedures Assist in tower erection using helicopters, cranes and gin poles Assist in the installation of various types of antennas such as VHF, UHF, cellular, FM broadcast and microwave parabolic antennas Assist in the transmission line and installation of foam or air dielectric coaxial, hardline and elliptical wave-guides Assist in the installation of all aspects of cell site foundations, grounding and conduits, with electrical installations where applicable. The above responsibilities represent the major tasks assigned to incumbents on this job title. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all tasks. Therefore, on occasion, incumbents may perform other related tasks. Skills: Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions Ability to read a compass, set azimuths and down tilts per specifications Ability to read site plans Sweep knowledge preferred

Experience and Qualifications A minimum of 2 years tower experience Must be authorized to work in the Canada Valid driver's license preferred with a driving record that meets company policy criteria Connector certifications Prior training in Fall Protection, Rescue, Industrial First Aid, CPR with a working knowledge of safety standard standards and regulations.
