Responsibilities Duties include:
work with engineering department to provide support for manufacturing and service departments demonstrate resourcefulness in solving complex technical problems prepare Autocad Inventor models, drawings and associated documentation for manufacturing of products maintain a drawings management system work from verbal instructions, shop sketches and layouts determine tolerances necessary to ensure proper material selection, proper fit and function of parts make mathematical calculations of factors involved in preparing design layouts prepare engineering change orders, test procedures, and requisition orders

Experience and Qualifications Qualifications:
8 or more years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment degree in mechanical engineering and accredited as a professional engineer have an advanced knowledge in mechanical engineering and design and be familiar with applicable codes, standards and acceptable industry practices ability to take broad conceptual frameworks to create viable products in collaboration with the team experience with CAD drafting and 3-D Solid modeling using Inventor software strong oral and written English communication skills experience with hands on shop floor manufacturing proficiency in Job BOSS will be considered an asset experience in project management
