Overview Reporting to the Vice President of Business Analytics, the Business & Credit Analyst will work as part of a specialized team within the Business Analytics (BA) Group. He/She will be responsible for extracting data from internal and external systems, designing and disseminating regular and ad-hoc reports, monitoring and reporting on consumer credit criteria and dynamics, performing financial and non-financial forecast modeling, and execution of BA departmental initiatives.

Responsibilities Aggregate large amounts of data from various disparate sources for the purposes of analysis and review. Prepare accurate, timely and organized reports to the management team highlighting key performance and credit quality observations of our AUM. Develop deep subject matter expertise in all stages of the analytic process, including data extraction, interpretation, validation and presentation Perform analysis of credit risk issues and communicate complex analytical results to senior management in a clear and effective manner Research, assess and report on perspective investments and asset classes through effective analysis of financial, operational and market risks. Take on BA departmental projects and see them through from concept to execution. Provide recommendations to management regarding key observations and trends within the business, including appropriate responsive actions. Additional duties and projects as required.

Experience and Qualifications A degree in Business and/or Economics, or equivalent work experience. Solid knowledge and understanding of financial principles. Quantitatively driven, with the ability to develop creative methodologies for process measurement. 1-3 years experience as an analyst or financial modeler is preferred. Experience researching material from specialized sources. Advanced-to-expert skills in Excel. Skills in database management including SQL, Access, Tableau or a similar BI toolset. Excellent attention to detail. Project management experience and goal adherence oriented. Ability to operate and stay on task with minimal supervision.
