Canadore College's Manufacturing Technician/Techniques - Wood Products program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed 'to manufacture home and office furniture, store fixtures, cabinetry, architectural millwork and other associated wood products.' The Program is offered as a 30-week certificate or a 45-week diploma.

Conestoga College's 4-year Advanced Manufacturing Technologies - Wood and Composite Products (AMT-WCP) Applied Degree is designed for individuals aspiring to careers in the 'advanced wood and composite products manufacturing industry.' The Program combines technical and practical education and work experience to expose students to the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production considerations involved in the Industry. The Program has been developed in partnership with industry advisors, Wood Manufacturing Council of Canada, and Fachhochschule Rosenheim.
