Carpentry and Millwork - Heritage - Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology
Algonquin College's 2-year Carpentry and Millwork - Heritage Diploma is designed for students interested in specializing in the preservation, renovation, and restoration of historical architecture and buildings in Canada. The Program's first year concentrates on contemporary construction techniques while the second year focuses on 'traditional building methods.' Graduates will have the practical abilities to combine 'new construction technology with traditional carpentry techniques' allowing them to perform the wide array of carpentry tasks required to successfully complete preservation, 'renovation and restoration projects.'
