Okanagan College Established: 1965 (Originally called the Okanagan University College.) Number of Students Programs Okanagan College offers a wide array of academic and career-oriented programs leading to applied bachelor degrees, associate degrees, certificates, diplomas and/or university transfer. The College has over 43 programs including applied bachelor degrees in Business Administration and in Computer Information Systems along with university transfer opportunities in Arts and Science. The College’s Continuing Education division provides a diverse range of courses and programs for personal and/or professional interest purposes including certificates and workshops. Interesting Facts Until 2005, Okanagan College was known as Okanagan University College. However, the “University” has been dropped from the College’s name as the University of British Columbia’s new campus in the Okanagan has assumed most of the university-level programs in the region. The College has campuses in Kelowna, Penticton, Salmon Arm, and Vernon. |
