Durham College offers upwards of 100 career-oriented programs designed to provide students with the experience, knowledge, and vocational skills required to succeed in the modern economy including fulltime programs from the Schools of Applied Science, Apprenticeships, Business, Career Development and Continuing Education, Communication Arts, Design, Emergency Services, Health, Human Studies, Integrated Studies, Justice, Skilled Trades, and Technology. The College's Business and Industry division provides programs specifically for students with learning difficulties including Auto Detailing, Dog Grooming Assistant, Horticulture, and G1 Driver Education. The College also has college and university preparation certificates for students needing to upgrade their academic skills or earn the appropriate credentials in order to enter post-secondary studies.
