Cypress Hills Regional College Established: 1973 Number of Students Upwards of 4,500. Programs Cypress Hills Regional College offers for-credit university courses and programs and vocational/skills training including over 24 Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) skills training courses and programs. Also available is a select number of lower and upper division courses from the University of Regina and the University of Saskatchewan’s Master of Continuing Education and the Post-Degree Certificate in Education in Special Education. Through the Adult Basic Education division’s courses and programs, students may earn a high school diploma or earn the proper credentials required for post-secondary studies. The College also has services for businesses and industry including customized courses, programs, and training. Such services include the JobStart/Future Skills Program that provides funding to employers willing to train employees for new or incremental positions; training is to be full-time, although part-time will be considered on a case by case basis. Furthermore, the College provides 4 non-credit skills training options in Better Business Skills, Interpersonal Communications, Introduction to Machine Shop, and Welding Basics - ARC and MIG.
