The instructors at Windsor Welding Institute are highly qualified and are certified by the Technical Standards & Safety Authority and the Canadian Welding Bureau. In addition to welding, students are taught various layout and fitting techniques, blueprint reading and cutting techniques. More than ninety percent of the instructions are given through practical welding sessions. The program enables the student to work in a variety of trades as pipe fitters, ironworkers, millwrights and boilermakers. Windsor Welding Institute follows the American Society of Mechanical Engineers standards, which is recognized globally. The course includes shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), flux core welding, oxy-fuel cutting and gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and air carbon cutting. Windsor Welding Institute is registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 and is located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The institute also offers testing facility for GTAW, SMAW and GMAW. It is also an accredited testing center for Canadian Welding Bureau Structural Steel Tests and Technical Standards & Safety Authority High Pressure Tests.
