Founded in Prince Edward Island in 1995, Study Abroad Canada offers a wide range of programs to help students learn English. The institute offers a complete package for its international students, arranging accommodation in special host family homes as well as providing special activities to help students become familiar with Canadian culture. The institute offers a wide range of programs to suit the needs of its students. An Intensive English Program is available for those looking to enter the job market. There are a number of unique programs such as the Study Tour program which allows students to learn English while touring Prince Edward Island. The Anne of Green Gables Program helps students learn the language while studying Anne of Green Gables and doing activities related to the book. The Valentine’s Program helps students learn English while learning about activities associated with Valentine's Day. An International High School Program as well as private classes for students looking for individual instruction is also available. Study Abroad Canada also offers a certificate course in Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language and the program is licensed under the Private Training Schools’ Act of Prince Edward Island. Accommodation is available for all students, either with the specially chosen homestay families or in the school dormitory. The institute offers a number of special services for students including free access to gym, pick-up and drop from classes, access to the library and internet as well as airport pick up.
