Regency College is a private vocational college located in Saskatchewan. It was established in 1987. The college is registered with the Institutions Branch of the Saskatchewan Department of Learning as a private vocational school. It is also accredited through the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Motel Association. The college has a working alliance with major hotels in Saskatoon; therefore, its graduates can find employment easily. It offers programs in the field of Hospitality, Business, and Criminal Justice. The hospitality and tourism industry is a growing field with numerous employment opportunities. The Hotel and Resort Management Diploma program provides students skills needed for entry-level positions in the industry. Graduates have the potential for excellent growth. The Restaurant/Bar Management program is a 32-week program. Graduates can find employment as Food & Beverage Manager, Catering Manager, and Night Club Manager. It offers two Business programs: Business Management Program and Sales & Marketing Program. The Business Management Program equips students to effectively play leadership roles in small and medium-sized businesses. Graduates can find jobs as Department Supervisor, Sales Representative, or Small Business Manager. It is the only college in Saskatchewan to offer the Criminal Justice Program. The program duration is of 40 weeks. Students receive in-depth knowledge about policing. Hands-on experience will be provided in interviewing, report writing, note taking, and investigative techniques. Graduates can work with security agencies, federal enforcement agencies, provincial enforcement agencies, and municipal police services.
