ProCare Institute offers a 24-week Health Care Aide Certificate Program. The curriculum combines classroom education with supervised hands-on training in a health care facility. The idea is to empower graduates to provide personal and professional care in all settings. The program provides onsite training in Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, Maple Ridge, North Shore, Nelson, and more. The classroom part of the program deals with introduction to health care, philosophy and history, nursing knowledge and skills, and safety in health care workplace. Graduates can find employment in Group homes, Adult day care centers, community facilities, and hospitals. Immediately after graduation, graduates can start earning $16-20 per hour.
