In order to give the students individual attention, the class size in the Liaison College is kept small at about 15 students. More then seventy per cent of the training involves practical instructions which gives the students hand on experience even while training. The diploma programs are designed to equip the students with skills that are important in the demanding culinary industry. Students can opt for basic or advanced cooking courses. The Liaison College has a Career Action Plan Services that assists students to get started in the industry. The Walk About program initiated by the college guarantees a one year placement in the wine region of Australia. The college has now started some certificate programs for wide ranging subjects including professional service techniques, food service worker, and patisserie certificate. The college also offers short term four week culinary classes to those want to learn cooking under the Home Chef skills Series. It also organizes one-day cooking programs on special occasions such as Mother’s Day. The Liaison College- Barrie campus college offers home training facility whereby trained chefs come and teach barbeque at your home. One can also buy a gift certificate that you can gift to someone who can then choose which class he or she wants to attend.
