Gardner College is a Christian higher educational institution which was established in 1933 as the Alberta Bible Institute. It was named as Gardner College - A Center for Christian Studies in 1993. It is member of the Commission on Christian Higher Education of the Church of God. Gardner College has an extensive library with more than 25,000 volumes and the students also have access to Augustana University College and the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute. Deserving students are offered financial aid such as scholarships, bursaries etc. The instructors are highly qualified and experts in their fields of study. The curriculum is updated at regular intervals to ensure that the students learn the latest skill sets. Gardner College offers several one year and two year certificate and diploma programs as well as major and minor programs in Christian education. It also offers four-year Bachelor's programs in a variety of fields of study. The Early Childhood Development Program trains students to work as competent professionals in schools, pre-schools, day care centers etc. The Child and Youth Care Worker program trains individuals to work with children with special needs. The students can complete a Theology Certificate through distance mode of education too. The institution has developed relationships with Anderson University, Azusa University, Mid-America Bible College, Warner Pacific College and Warner Southern College to offer students who attend classes at the institution a chance to get a liberal arts degree.
