Advanced Welding Techniques Inc. was founded in the year 1995 and is located in the province of Ontario. The institute offers career-oriented custom welder courses for students as well as in-plant training and consultations for welding companies. The institute is a registered Private Career College and is recognized by the Canadian Welding Bureau as an accredited test center. It is also a member of the Canadian Welding Association, Ontario Welder Apprenticeship Program, Private Welding Career College of Ontario and the American Welding Society. The programs are taught by experienced instructors and the course material is updated in order to ensure that all students are equipped with the latest skills. The institute offers programs in various aspects of gas metal arc welding, flux cored arc welding, shielded metal arc welding, blueprint reading and gas tungsten arc welding. A 12 week and a 16 week trade certification program are also offered. Financial assistance is available for qualifying students and the institute also offers job placement assistance. This includes resume preparation guidance, supplying job search resources and introducing students to the institute's vast network of industry contacts. The institute will also mail or fax job applications on behalf of its students. Advanced Welding Techniques Inc. currently has a job placement rate of 90% for its graduates.
