Access International College is based in the province of Alberta and is licensed by the Alberta Ministry of Education. It is also licensed as a private boarding school and is an accredited Alberta high school. The college offers a number of university preparatory courses as well as diploma courses. The college is also aimed at providing high school diplomas for students from the international community. Teachers at the Access International College all hold Provincial Teaching Certificates and the college offers special guidance in assisting its students in pursuing higher studies in either Canada or the United States. The college offers free airport pick-up for its international students and will arrange for accommodation. A special New Students Orientation program is offered to familiarize new students with aspects such as banking, insurance, study plans and shopping. Counseling is offered with regard to study plans, higher studies and career development and planning. Assistance is also offered for university applications and extending student visas.
